Just a few pictures (and a short video) of 20th Century Recall, one of the oldest artworks of the Setouchi Triennale as the wind was picking up a little bit…
It’s still looking good and I’m surprised how well it’s resisting aging, standing in Megijima’s port where the weather can be harsh, mainly the winter winds. The sculpture itself is not that black anymore, but it doesn’t look bad.
In case you’re wondering, the sails are regularly replaced
(and they’re completely taken out during the off-season).
