This is just a quick note to tell you that the list of new artists (and returning artists with new art) for the Setouchi Triennale 2025 has been published. It’s only in Japanese at the moment, but if you can’t wait, I published a previous on Japan Art Islands.
It’s for subscribers only, but it’s a reminder for you to subscribe if you haven’t yet, and also a reminder that I’m still learning how to use the platform, and I currently have a problem sending emails with it, so even if you’re subscribed, you may not have received an email. Sorry about that, I hope the problem will be fixed very soon.

And among the returning artists, one of my favorites, Lin Shuen-Long, will return this year after being absent in 2022. He’ll be back on Teshima just like when he made his debut at the Triennale in 2013:
