Cherry blossom season is almost over, and I haven’t been very lucky with it this year; for the past three weeks either I was sick, or it rained pretty much every single time I had a day off, so I spent most of those at home, that’s why I haven’t been to Ogijima in more than a month (and missed two events I wanted to attend) and that’s also why I haven’t seen many cherry blossoms this year.
However, a couple of weeks ago, I did manage to spend a couple of hours in Ritsurin Garden, and while the cherry blossoms weren’t in full bloom yet, it was pretty much my only hanami experience this year… Oh well, there’s next year and the following ones…
Anyway, here are a few pictures of cherry blossoms in Ritsurin Garden. They’re far from being my best pictures, but Hana, my daughter was in a mischievous mood, and I had to constantly keep an eye on her, and my pictures were sometimes a little rushed.
Despite the fact that we were on a weekday, the garden was pretty crowded.
That’s all for this year (unless I’m incredibly lucky tomorrow or Monday and stumble upon some late cherry blossoms)…
