They dance because they’re happy. They’re happy because they can join the first two Google+ communities that I have created. And they invite you to do the same.
You may know (or not) that Google+ has implemented a new feature that I instantly loved: Communities. They merge the good aspects of social networks with the ones of forums (which were my favorite place to socialize online because social networks become the place to do so).
I have just created two:
– Shikoku: for people who live or simply are interested in Shikoku.
– Setouchi Triennale 2013: for all things concerning the upcoming art festival.
More may come (or not). I’m thinking one devoted to Takamatsu, another one to the Seto Inland Sea, but they may be a little bit too niche. I’m not sure.
In any case, please come take a look (well, they’re pretty empty as of today) and feel free to join, I believe they are great places to share about those common interests. Especially at a time when Facebook pages are becoming more and more useless. If you’re still not too sure about what to do with your Google+ account (or maybe you don’t even have one yet), that is a great occasion.
And if you think that Google+ is useless (especially if you’re a blogger or a blog reader) and that it’s a ghost town, we need to talk, you may have missed an important thing or two about how to use it.
