Octopus Traps on Ogijima

 

 

If you’ve wondered how to catch octopus, it’s pretty simple actually. See, they love to hide in narrow holes in the rocks underwater. So fishermen, lay those traps on the sea floor, they wait for a little while, and then after you pull the ropes and the pots out of the water, you just have to collect the octopus that are taking a nap and didn’t have time to move when everything started to move around them.
