Ogijima from above

Today, for this last day of 2010 and to Show you Japan I’m offering you Ogijima from above:

Aerial view of Ogijima

This is one of the advantages to directly fly to and from Takamatsu instead of making a detour to Kansai or elsewhere; one gets to fly over the islands of Kagawa Prefecture at low altitude.

Great capture. It’s great to have a local airport in your prefecture, which we don’t have in Tochigi…
Thanks for sharing and Happy New Year!!!

Yeah and direct flights (via Seoul-Incheon) from France to Takamatsu got cheaper this year, so no need to fly to Kansai anymore (and add a three extra hour bus ride to the trip). Pretty exciting. The only downside, we don’t fly Cathay and via HK anymore (Cathay is definitely my favorite airline).
