One of the many cute things on Awashima (an island I really advise you to visit in Western Kagawa) are the various art installations here and there on the island. They’re not related to Art Setouchi at all, and they have been there for a few years now. They’re most made of materials found in ports (buoys, anchors, etc), and – I could be wrong – I think they’re the result of a project with local schools from a few years ago.
