On Saturday, the traditional Japanese boat that was built at Bengal Island was launched. For reasons beyond my control (I had to work that morning, when I usually don’t work on Saturday mornings these days… Grrrr…) I couldn’t attend. I’m not too happy about that.
However, in order to be able to show it to you at least a little on this blog, Douglas Brooks – the head of the project – had the extreme kindness to provide me with a few pictures from the launching. Here they are:
